Dear Parents,

    I am Tay Tay Stroud and I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to be teaching your children. I have a passion for teaching as this is my 4th year. I have a special place for children which inspires my desire to teach. I am honored to get to know each of your children better.

    In our second grade classroom this year the students and I started our sustainability unit by discussing all of the issues we saw as major ones. Students worked in groups to decide what they felt was the most pressing issue of our day and age. They discussed problems they saw in the world and ways they wanted to fix them.

    Next, as a class we looked as what sustainability really is and the 17 sustainability goals. This is our website with our finished projects. We created this to show you guys the sustainability issue we believed to be most vital, hunger.
